Genevieve’s Story

I am deeply passionate about Healing. Through my early, potent spiritual experiences I found myself on a medicine path.

The story goes a little something like this…

I came to this Earth with a deep remembering. I could feel Spirit all around me. I felt alive and inspired and there was an extreme familiarity in the presence of the sacred. Sacred songs moved me, the drumbeat at Pow Pow reminded me, the medicine called to me, the beauty of life and living drove me. I had to touch the edge of the mystery every day.

At age 14 I found myself in a Reiki circle knowing I wanted to become a practitioner. I was gifted Level 1 Reiki attunement by a community member who asked me to carry Reiki on in her late son’s name, I accepted and committed my life to service. Working with Reiki opened my intuitive field and I began to feel, sense and know things on a very deep level and was guided to use this intuition for healing.

I began learning from a Medicine Man in his shop by the Big Cypress Reservation. He taught me traditional ways of working with animal medicine, ways to honor everything given by the Great Mystery, he initiated a deep love for ceremony and taught me ways to show respect for Earth, Sky & everything in between. Through this work I began developing my relationship with Great Spirit. I work with Reiki, offer shamanic healing, intuitive readings, medium readings, house blessings, mentoring am always doing my own deep & personal work to remain a clean/clear practitioner. In these healing sessions, client’s began to ask for more consistent support in their lives beyond one-time sessions. I found Transformational & Trauma Informed Coaching to be powerful models of healing that I could integrate into the existing work.

Being guided to cross-cultural teachers and practices helped me to develop a healing practice that can meet people’s different needs. I am a Teacher + Mentor + Healer + Coach + Prayer Maker + Ceremonialist always working towards serving the Highest Good of All. I love working 1:1 and also in groups taking people on their own personal healing journey. I value connection, having meaningful + powerful sessions that will stimulate growth and personal expansion. I care deeply about seeing people through their pain into their own authentic place of wholeness & happiness.

BELIEF AS A HEALER:

I live to love. My passion lies in bridging the magic + mystery into this practical life. I firmly believe in order to live a good life we must work on ourselves, serve the soul and transform the pain of the past. We must create the path forward living congruent with our own inherent beliefs and values. We must take a stance for ourselves, reclaim our original medicine and live from our personal power. Life is a great mystery waiting for us to step fully into it.

I would like to acknowledge my medicine teachers, the women and men who passed sacred teachings to me with trust to carry on the healing.

Vince, the medicine man in his shop making beautiful things, sharing wisdom ways to honor & respect all things; introducing me to ceremony as a way to express reverence for Earth + Sky and the one who ignited my love for medicine making. Char Sundust my Teacher who is an inspiration around what it means to have integrity in the work as a Teacher + Healer + Mentor + Practitioner. Roshi my sister who opened the door to life being one big celebratory, ceremonial playground. The laughing, singing, dancing, medicine making and the many times she walked me through the Void of Great Mystery to the other side. Debbie my mother, for her wisdom & example on living a life of compassion and love and for teaching me the importance of cultivating beauty from the inside out.
