The Reiki Healing System
A Reiki Healing treatment is a beautiful and ceremonious experience. Rei (meaning universal) Ki (meaning life force energy) is a modality in which the practitioner attunes to the ever-flowing universal life force energy and by laying on of the hands, guides it to the person receiving. Reiki brings balance and healing to the physical, mental, spiritual and emotional bodies.
The energy will work where it's needed, regardless of the person's understanding of its workings. The more open a person is to receiving a healing, the more healing energy will be absorbed, and the greater and faster the benefits will be. The experience of receiving a Reiki treatment feels like an extremely pleasant and deeply penetrating energy that flows through you and surrounds you. No special tools are needed, and while receiving a treatment you are fully-clothed and all you need to do is relax and keep an open mind. Reiki treats the whole person and is even beneficial via long distance. It is completely safe and cannot be misused, as it always creates a healing effect.
Reiki + Clearing
With my background and experience with other healing modalities, some Reiki treatments may include deeper clearing work with the use of a rattle, sage, drum and other tools to facilitate deeper spiritual cleansing. I will discuss my process with each individual client and will work within their spiritual comfort level for the session.
IN-PERSON treatments
Treatments are 90 minutes and include the intake discussion, time on the table receiving reiki healing and a short review after the session. Client’s are fully clothed during session. Sensations & feelings that may be experienced during the treatment are: deep relaxation + energy movement in the form of tingling + warmth + cold and some people have deeper experiences of seeing/hearing from their own intuition. Some release emotions by laughing and crying and some just lay there feeling whole and at peace. Everything that happens is appropriate to the healing once the space is opened and we begin.

REMOTE HEALING
As a Reiki Level II Practitioner, Reiki can be sent remotely and the receiver does not need to be physically present. By using the sacred Reiki Symbols and with a photo/name of the person receiving, a treatment can be given to anyone, anywhere. The Reiki session is powerful and effective even though we are physically apart.
How it works:
We will designate a time & day for the session. The receiver will send me a text/email with their healing intention for the session at least one day before. On our scheduled time, I send a message that I am ‘tuning in’ to begin. Once session is complete, I send a message we are “complete” and include notes about the session. The receiver’s only job is to find a comfortable and relaxing space to receive the treatment. The experience of receiving absent Reiki varies depending on the receiver’s sensitivity.
How does it work? Think of a cell phone. It’s not necessary to be in physical proximity to a caller to talk on a cell phone, as cell phones use electromagnetic radio waves to connect with other cell phones. Similarly, Reiki recipients do not need to be in physical proximity to Reiki practitioners to receive Reiki, just as practitioners don’t need to be near recipients to send it. When we follow Reiki protocol it connects us.
